KSE ends lower

Karachi Stock Exchange witnessed mixed trend on Thursday but ended lower at the end of the day. The 100-Index maintained the level of 12,000 points.

Business activity started with a positive note and the market once crossed 12,100 points level. However, selling pressure pushed the market downward. However, investors remained cautious due to bleak financial situation and strained Pak-US ties over Raymond issue.At the end of the day, KSE closed at 12,061 points with a decrease of 16 points. Business volume remained almost 6 crore shares. Bank of Khyber remained the volume leader.
