An upward trend was seen in Asian stock markets with the reports of increase in industrial production and the interest rate in corporate sector.

Morgan Stanley Asia Pacific Index gained 0.3, while Japanese Nikkei Index and Topix Index gained 0.6 and 0.5 respectively. Hong Kong Beng Seng Index gained 0.53, while 0.5 raise was recorded in Shanghai Composite Index.
