Gold price hikes by Rs 350 per tola

Gold price has observed an upsurge of USD 16 in the international market.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Gold price has observed an upsurge of USD 16 in the international market in last week which lifted its per ounce price from USD 1229 to 1245, reported Dunya News on Monday.

Due to price hike in international market, local markets also witnessed rise in gold price.

According to All Pakistan Supreme Council Jewelers Association report, gold price increased by Rs 350 in Sarafa Markets in seven days which surged its per tola price in markets of Karachi, Hyderabad, Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Quetta to Rs 50,850 from Rs 50,500.

Likewise, price of ten grams of gold increased by Rs 300 and became Rs 43,585. Price of silver rose to Rs 750 per tola after increase of 20 rupees.
