Boom in Lahore Stock Exchange on Friday
Total volume of trade was 32 Lac, 30 thousand and 700 shares at LSE on 3rd of March
LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) got a boom on Friday. A trade of 98 companies’ shares was seen. There was increase in the shares of 24 companies while a decline was seen in the shares of 5. Shares of 69 companies remained stable.
LSE 25 index closed at 5388.44 with the increase of 88.54 points. A total volume of trade was 32 Lac, 30 thousand and 700 shares at LSE on 3rd of March.
Companies with top sold shares in the market were The Bank of Punjab (23 Lac, 26 thousand and 500 shares), Southern Electric Power Company Limited (4 Lac, 95 Thousand and 500 shares) and Japan Power Generation Limited (1 Lac and 65 thousand shares).
The price of High Noon Laboratories’ shares increased by 4.73 rupees, highest on Friday. Pakistan Oil Field Limited’s shares decreased most in price with a decrease of 15.74 rupees.
