Gold prices hit record high, at Rs 33,850

Increase in gold prices was recorded in local and international markets as the gold hit record high Rs 33,850 per tola on Friday. The gold reached the price of Rs 33,850 per tola, up Rs 350 across the country including Karachi. Gold price reached Rs 29,014 with an addition of Rs 300. In international market, gold price surged to $1,061. The continuously lowering price of dollar is cause of surge in gold prices, analysts said.
