Punjab industries to face 3-day gas cut in May

The industrial sector of the province will face three days a week gas loadshedding in May.

According to a notification, gas supply to Faisalabad, Gujranwala Multan Sargodha and Bahawalpur regions will be restored on Monday morning, while gas supply to Lahore Sahiwal and Shaikhupura will be suspended on tomorrow.The traders have rejected the schedule, saying first time in the country’s history gas loadshedding is being made in May.They said that petroleum minister had announced to reduce gas loadshedding to the sector but no relief has been given. They alleged only the Punjab is facing gas loadshedding.
