Summary Iran claims victory in US memorandum talks, calling agreement a step toward regional peace and stability despite Israeli reaction concerns.

TEHRAN (Dunya News) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that Iran has emerged as the “victor” in recent diplomatic developments, describing a memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States as a dignified document reflecting respect for the region and Iran’s resistance-aligned forces.

Speaking at a ceremony in Tehran, Pezeshkian stated that the reaction of Israel to the agreement is clear evidence that Iran has prevailed in the process.

He added that only minor differences existed in a limited section of the draft memorandum between Iran and the United States, which were resolved through negotiations.

The Iranian president further said the agreement represents an important step toward regional stability, peace, and mutual respect. He emphasized that Iran remains committed to implementing the accord while fully protecting its national interests.
