Summary Iran’s military leadership has warned the United States and Israel of a swift and decisive response to any hostile action following a high-level briefing to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
TEHRAN (Dunya News) – Iran has issued a fresh warning to the United States and Israel, declaring that its armed forces are fully prepared to respond decisively to any hostile action, following a high-level meeting between senior military officials and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
According to Iranian state media, Major General Ali Abdollahi, commander of Iran’s Central Military Headquarters, also known as Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, met with Ayatollah Khamenei to present a detailed report on the country’s military preparedness and defence capabilities.
The briefing reportedly covered the readiness of multiple branches of Iran’s security and defence structure, including the regular army, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), law enforcement units, border guard forces, the defence ministry, and the Basij paramilitary force.

Iranian news agency Tasnim quoted Abdollahi as saying that “all the warriors of Islam are highly prepared to confront the hostile actions of the American-Zionist enemies”. He further warned that in the event of “any strategic error or aggression”, Iran’s response would be “swift, intense and powerful”.
Iranian media also reported that the Supreme Leader issued new directives and guidance to military commanders during the meeting, instructing them to continue what was described as a firm and resolute confrontation against the country’s enemies.
Reports carried by Iranian and regional media echoed the same message, stating that Abdollahi informed the Supreme Leader that Iranian forces were completely ready to counter any possible action by the United States or Israel.
He reportedly stressed that if the enemy committed any “mistake”, Iran’s retaliation would be fast, severe and decisive.
No further details were released regarding the exact timing or location of the meeting, according to reports.
The remarks come amid heightened regional tensions and growing concerns over a possible escalation involving Iran, Israel and the United States. In recent months, Iranian officials have repeatedly warned against military pressure or direct confrontation, while Israeli and American leaders have continued to voice concerns over Tehran’s regional activities and military capabilities.
Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters serves as Iran’s unified military command centre and plays a central role in coordinating operations between the country’s conventional armed forces and the IRGC.
