Summary Earlier, Iran has announced the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz for commercial vessels following the ceasefire in Lebanon
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - US President Donald Trump said on Friday that the United States has banned Israel from further bombing in Lebanon, using an atypically harsher tone than usual with the longtime US ally Israel.
"Israel will not be bombing Lebanon any longer. They are PROHIBITED from doing so by the U.S.A. Enough is enough!!!" Trump said in a social media post.
Trump also said any deal the United States reaches with Iran "is in no way subject to Lebanon" but the US will "deal with" the Hezbollah situation in an appropriate manner.
The US president also said the US will get nuclear material from Iran. "No money will exchange hands in any way, shape, or form."

In a statement posted on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that the strategic waterway has been reopened to all commercial ships and will remain fully operational for the duration of the ceasefire.
He added that commercial maritime traffic will continue during this period; however, vessels will be required to follow pre-designated coordinated routes set by Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization.
According to the foreign minister, the move is aimed at reducing regional tensions and facilitating the resumption of global trade activity.
The Strait of Hormuz is a critical global transit route for oil shipments, and any disruption or restoration of access to it has direct implications for the global economy.
