Another Cold War? Warns Henry Kissinger

WASHINGTON (Web Desk) – United States of America (USA) former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger warned that another cold war could initiate between USA and China if the tensions continue to rise.

He expressed these views in an interview to Spanish newspaper. He voiced about the possibility of another cold war between USA and China and expected it to be more brutal than the previous cold war between USSR and USA.

He said that both countries possessed economic resources that were absent during the previous cold war. The previous cold war started in mid 1940s and ended in early 1990s with the dissolution of Soviet Union.

Mr Kissinger said that both great economic powers were turned into arch rivals and Chinese foreign minister already warned that the cold war between his country (China) and USA would prove destructive for the world.

The former secretary had previously warned that China US conflict could turn into one of the worst challenges faced by human race.

The matters such as Taiwan Island, spying through balloons and improvement in China Russia relations caused panic in US and resulted in increasing tensions between both great powers.
