Trump 'part of coverup' in Jamal Khashoggi killing, alleges Hillary Clinton
Response to Khashoggi's death is intended to protect interests of Trump, said Hillary.
WASHINGTON (Dunya News) – Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has suggested that President Trump is “part of the cover-up as to what happened” in the killing of Saudi Arabia journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
In a statement, Clinton said, “The response of administration to the death of Khashoggi is intended to protect the interests of Trump.”
“We have a president who is part of the cover-up as to what happened in that consulate or embassy when Mr. Khashoggi was murdered. We have a president and those closest to him who have their own personal commercial interests,” she added.
Mr Khashoggi was murdered when he visited Saudi Arabia’s consulate in Istanbul last month.
