IDF arrests Palestinian girl for slapping soldier
Ahed Tamimi, 17, was arrested along with her mother
(Web Desk) – Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have arrested Palestinian girl Ahed Tamimi for slapping IDF soldier outside her home in ‘Nabi Saleh’ village.
The girl was arrested later on after video of her slapping Israeli soldier surfaced the social media. Ahed Saleh, 17, is a Palestinian activist whose brother Muhammad al Tamimi was shot on the head with a rubber bullet during a protest resulting in medically induced coma.
The teenage girl is hailed as a hero and a symbol of resistance in Palestine for bravely confronting Israeli soldiers while Israelis consider her a Palestinian ‘propaganda tool’ used for provocation of Israeli soldiers to allegedly get the public relations of Israeli/Palestinian conflict in Palestinian favor.
Ahed Tamimi was invited and awarded by the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan for her ‘bravely confronting the IDF’.
The 17 year old Ahed Tamimi being an activist also writes blogs in Arabic against Israel after becoming an a symbol of Palestinian resistance when few years ago, her video surfaced of attempted intimidation of Israeli soldiers with her fists.
The IDF raided the home of Tamim family in Nabi Saleh village and arrested Ahed Tamimi and her mother while also confiscating the computers and other electronic equipment.
