(Web Desk) - Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met United States President Donald Trump during his trip to the United States. One would assume that people would be focused on the content of the discussion between the two presidents and any agreements that the two leaders came to during their meetings. But what has caught the attention of the people is an incident with the guards who were waiting to open the doors of Modi s car.
A video showing the guards opening the doors of the Indian Prime Minister s car has gone viral on Twitter. The video shows the guards on either side of the car opening the door for Modi and his wife. However, one of the guards is left hanging as no one steps out of the car. Not that Modi s wife did not want to get out of the car. It was just that she wasn t even there. As expected, the video went viral on social media with Twitterati relishing how the guard awkwardly stood there with the open door waiting for Mrs. Modi to come out.

However, another video was shared showing Modi leaving the White House after the dinner, in which the guard is opening the door again for an absent Mrs Modi. What do you do when you do something embarrassing? You do the exact same thing again to lessen the awkwardness by portraying that you had intentionally wanted to do it in the first place. Maybe the guard is doing just that. Or maybe his act was really just part of the protocol.
