AMRITSAR (Dunya News) – The pigeon taken into custody by Indian police at Pathankot on October 2 is currently undergoing captivity and interrogation.
An x-ray of the pigeon was held a day before in Amritsar. It was first taken to Gurdaspur but the machine was damaged after which the pigeon underwent the test in Amritsar.
In the light of the x-ray, it was decided that the pigeon is innocent and no spy chip is fixed in it.
The pigeon has caused quite a stir in India and has become a headache for the intelligence agencies.
Police has claimed that they found it with a note in Urdu saying something like ‘Modi, we’re not the same people from 1971. Now each and every child is ready to fight against India.’
The pigeon was surrounded like an enemy by the Border Security Force (BSF) and then shifted to the police station where it was fed but in a cage.
The detained pigeon could not find freedom even after being found innocent.
According to police it will be presented before a magistrate and a report will be submitted that it is not a Pakistani spy after which his release will be announced.
Police has found that the pigeon is not a pet bird but from a wild breed.
One of the policemen told an Indian channel that they have also caught such pigeons before which are more healthy in physique as compared to Indian pigeons, are of Arab breed, have high ability to fly and possess a sharp mind.
The policeman said that these pigeons can fly for almost upto 12 hours in intense heat. He doubted that a chip is installed in them through a minor operation after which they can send pictures of the areas from which they pass.
He revealed that two years back, they also shot dead a pigeon.
