The members of the council would meet again today. The solution proposed by Turkey and Brazil would also be reviewed during the meeting today. Lebanon, Turkey and Brazil opposed the previous draft. The draft resolution would both build on existing UN sanctions on Iran and expand the breadth and reach of UN sanctions on Iran by creating new categories of sanctions.
