German Chancellor Angela Merkel topped the worlds most powerful woman position for the fourth consecutive year, according to a noted U.S magazine Forbes ranking released recently. Magazine has given a prominent place to the business women in this years list. Merkel is given the first position for her important role in German economy. Sheila Bair, chair of the U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Corp, which insures bank deposits, retained the No. 2 spot after debuting on the Forbes list last year. Pepsi Colas Chief Executive Indra Noi occupies third position. Anglo American Chief executive Sunthia Carrel is on fourth while Singapore Investment Companys chief executive is on number fifth position. US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton failed to retain her last position. She is on 36th while US First Lady Michelle Obama is on 40th number.
