Black horse bought for PKR62 lakh turns out red after bath
(Web Desk) - A man in Indian Punjab was cheated out of INR22.65 lakh by traders who managed to convince him that he was being sold a black horse.
Black is an uncommon colour in horses, and black horses fetch a higher price compared to those of other colours.
However, the shiny black sheen turned out to be paint when he bathed the horse. Ramesh brought the horse home and gave it a bath only to see the paint wash away and reveal a red coat.
The man said he had paid the swindlers Rs. 20 lakh in cash and gave two cheques for the remaining amount, taking the total to about Rs. 62 lakh. Police have registered a case of fraud against the three accused.
