(Web Desk) - A video clip showing Indian women worshipping a kangaroo shaped dustbin has gone viral on the internet.
The video shows the women draped in saris smearing water, applying tilak and paying floral tribute to the kangaroo dustbin.
The dustbin was placed outside the premises of a temple by Indian government as part of Clean India Campaign. Some social media users suggest that the women might have mistaken the dustbin for deity.
Worshipping animals is a part of the Hinduism but what surprising is that kangaroos do not have any connection with Hindu mythologies.
