A YouTuber ran scratch, burn and bend tests on Samsung's new flagship smartphone to test durability

(Web Desk) – YouTuber JerryRigEverything ran a durability test on Samsung’s latest flagship model Galaxy Note 8 to find whether the smartphone is as tough as claimed by the manufacturer.

He simply ran scratch, burn and bend tests on the expensive phone which isn’t advisory for those who have just purchased the model. The YouTuber scratched the phone with a sharp blade, and then brought it in contact with fire from the lighter.

The results were admirable as the phone has scratch-less body from both back and front. Only the S Pen caught scratches because it is made from plastic while the other parts have metallic body. It only makes fingerprints on the backside of the smartphone which can be avoided through a case.

In fire test, the phone showed damaged when the fire remained in contact for some time. The screen was a little damaged. Note 8 is water-proof which can be helpful for the users.

The smartphone was lastly subjected to bend test by pushing the thumb on its screen and pulling fingers of both hands from both sides. Samsung’s latest creation passed the test with flying colours.

Tech geeks have shown positive reviews for long battery life, dual-lens camera, water resistance, expandable memory and chic design of Galaxy Note 8.
