Summary
A mini truck got overturned due to high speed on the flyover connecting the airport with Lahore Ring Road. Three people got killed in this accident where as two have been injured.The mini truck was heading towards the airport from Badami Bagh loaded with mangoes. Truck driver Ashraf and helper Usman were seated in the front compartment of the truck while Ejaz, Afzal, Masroor and two brothers Iqbal and Riaz were seated on top of the mini truck. The truck overturned on the flyover bend due to high speed and the ones seated on the top of the truck immediately fell down from the flyover. As a result of which two brothers Iqbal and Riaz died at the spot; where as Masroor could not succumb to his injuries in General Hospital. Ejaz and Afzal are injured and under treatment.
