LAHORE (Dunya News) – Criticising the alleged luxurious life of the rulers, JI emir Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said the people are bearing the burden of the rulers' luxuries, and a dual system cannot operate in the country.

Addressing the participants of the sit-in here on Tuesday, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that the government must provide basic facilities of education, health and employment to the people.

He said as a result of JI’s struggle, the people are getting electricity at a price of Rs16, there should be a uniform and quality education system in the country, and Pakistan should get its true freedom.

Hafiz Naeem said Pakistan was created for a system of justice, therefore the current system must be changed by organising the people.

The JI chief said that the elements who are blocking politics and the economy are speaking against ‘our sit-in, even though they themselves have blocked the economy’.
If the people come out, the rulers will not get a chance to escape. They will be removed from power, Pakistan will be freed and the economy will be activated, he added.

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman criticised the Punjab government, saying that its thinking is limited and it does not want to give anything to the people of South Punjab. Protest camps should also be set up in the squares of South Punjab. The entire Punjab should stand behind this sit-in.

He announced that there will be a huge rally in Faisalabad on August 28.
