Summary The SC rules the petition will be taken up with main case scheduled for hearing on September 16
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Supreme Court (SC) has rejected the request of Imran Khan’s sister Uzma Khan for early hearing of contempt of court petition, ruling the court will hear the case alongside the main case.
The court order stated that the main case was scheduled for hearing on September 16, while Uzma Khan's contempt of court petition will also be heard on the same day along with the main case.
The Supreme Court ruled that several contempt of court cases were already pending in the Supreme Court, so under the judicial policy, no case can be scheduled for hearing before the scheduled date.
