SUKKUR (Dunya News) – Weather on Saturday turned pleasant after rain in the city and its surrounding areas, with Met office predicted more rain in coming days.

According to reports, Sukkur and its surrounding areas suddenly received heavy rain accompanied by strong winds, after which the weather turned pleasant.

According to sources, several SEPCO feeders tripped after the rain. Meteorological Department said other spells of rain were expected after this spell of rain.

PDMA has also issued a warning of urban flooding, after which the district administration became active. The Sukkur mayor said the district administration drained the rainwater from several areas of the city as soon as the rain stopped.

According to Pakistan's Meteorological Department (PMD), in Sindh, rainfall is expected between July 24 and July 28 in Karachi and several other districts, including Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Mirpur Khas, Umerkot, Tharparkar, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sanghar, Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Dadu, Khairpur, and surrounding areas.
