Maryam shed tears as she spotted her father's copter
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Maryam Nawaz Sharif could not control her tears as the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif made a grand return to his homeland after an absence of four years, leaving the nation in awe.
The atmosphere was electrified at Lahore's airport. Maryam was waiting along with thousands of people at Minar-e-Pakistan. She spotted her father's helicopter and could not stop her tears.

Nawaz Sharif, having embarked on a special flight from Islamabad, was greeted with open arms upon landing in Lahore. Although his flight departed from Islamabad airport with a delay of approximately two hours, the anticipation was noticeable.
PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif was among the first in Lahore to extend a warm welcome to the leader, marking this moment as a significant event in Pakistan's political history.
