Jahangir has not yet directed Langrial, Awn to resign: sources
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Istehkam-e-Pakistan Pary (IPP) leaders Nauman Langrial and Awn Chaudhry had not yet resigned from their positions as the prime minister's special aides.
Sources divulged on Thursday that IPP patron-in-chief Jahangir Khan Tareen had not yet made a decision in this regard. The resignations of Langrial and Awn had not been received by the PM House.
According to sources, "Until now, Jahangir has not directed Langrial and Awn to resign. Jahangir will only give any instructions to the IPP leaders after carefully evaluating the political environment and engaging the party".
Earlier today, it was reported that Langrial and Awn resigned from their positions as the prime minister's special aides in line with the party's commitment.
