Indian army created story of brutality on July 13, says Firdous Ashiq Awan
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) senior leader Firdous Ashiq Awan said on Thursday that India must act responsibly and free the people of Kashmir.
Expressing her thoughts in reference to Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Kashmir (Kashmir Martyrs Day), Firdous said: "Today is a golden and memorable day for the freedom struggle of occupied Kashmir."
"The killing of innocent people is a stigma on the forehead of the so-called secular India. It is the story of brutality that the Indian army had created on July 13," she maintained.
- Condemns terrorist attack -
Separately, Firdous condemned the terrorist attack on the Zhob garrison in northern Balochistan on Wednesday.
Expressing her thoughts, Fidous said, "The soldiers have sacrificed their lives in order to stop the terrorist attack. I laud the soldiers for embracing martyrdom for the sake of country's defence".
"Those who are planting the seeds of hatred ought to exercise caution. Army is our asset, and martyrs are our pride," Firdous maintained.
