Aseefa Bhutto visits Japan on her own expenses, clarifies PPP

PTI and JI criticise Aseefa's tour
(Web Desk) – PPP Information Secretary Shazia Marri stated on Monday that Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari, who is accompanying Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on his visit to Japan, is on a personal trip and is covering her own expenses. Bilawal is currently on a four-day visit to Japan, following an invitation from the Japanese government.
During a meeting with the Pakistani diaspora in Tokyo, Aseefa was also seen alongside her brother, sparking questions and criticism on social media regarding the use of taxpayers money.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi, criticised the presence of political dynasties in the country and accused them of using public funds for personal gains.

Similarly, PTI leader Ali Awan condemned FM Bilawal for carrying his sister on an official trip during a crucial time for the country's economy.

In response, Shazia Marri clarified that Aseefa's visit is private and she is not attending official meetings, only participating in community and business events. Marri dismissed the campaign against Aseefa's presence as baseless.
