Infant dies, other suffers burns at Lahore's Children Hospital

One of the infant died whereas the other one is in critical condition
LAHORE (Dunya News) – An infant died of burns, while another suffered injuries after they exposed to overheating in incubators at the Lahore's Children Hospital on Sunday night.
The infants got burnt due to severe negligence by doctors, nurses, and medical staff.
According to the hospital's Managing Director (MD), children were placed in warmers to provide heat. One of the infant is still alive but is in a critical condition.
Dr Saleem said an inquiry committee, headed by Medical Director Professor Javed Iqbal, has been constituted. The committee also comprises a biomedical engineer to help thoroughly investigate the technical aspect as well.
