Lahore court rejects Ahmed Khan Niazi's interim bail; grants bail to Farrukh Habib

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Lahore court dismissed the interim bail plea of Ahmed Khan Niazi, the nephew of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, while granting bail to PTI leader Farrukh Habib on Monday.
The decision to reject Ahmed Khan Niazi's bail was based on non-compliance. Additional Sessions Judge Nadeem Hasan Wasair heard the case of interim bail, reminding that the Race Course police station had registered a case of interference in government matters against Imran Khan's nephew.
Meanwhile, In the FIR registered against Farrukh Habib on the occasion of Imran Khan's judicial commission appearance, the court granted interim bail till May 16.
The additional sessions judge heard the case and ordered a stay on the arrest of Farrukh Habib until May 16.
