Caretaker CM Punjab imposes restrictions on extravagant use of govt funds

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi directed to reduce the thriftless expenditure of the government’s funds.

Sources said that henceforth the arrangement of free meals would not be allowed in the CM house. Meanwhile it was decided that the guests would be provided tea and biscuits only.

Sources added the interim chief executive had also established a new tradition of having his food from his house while also directing the officers of the CM office to adopt austerity.

Moreover, interim CM would bear the spending of his staff himself with the funds of CM office to be reduced significantly.
