PTI has not yet contacted PML-N for KP caretaker CM: Ikhtiar Wali
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) spokesperson Ikhtiar Wali said on Thursday the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had not contacted them yet for the KP caretaker Chief Minister slot.
Mr Wali said the PDM would nominate its candidates after the PTI did so. “The era of PTI’s monopoly is over [in the province]”, he added. The matter would, he said, go the ECP if the PTI did not act responsibly.
The KP opposition has named Dost Muhammad and Zafar Ullah Khan for the slot while the PTI is expected to nominate Barrister Saif and Javed Iqbal.
