Tanveer says PML-N completed its number game ahead of Elahi's vote of confidence

MURIDKE (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training said on Monday Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was having a complete number game in the Punjab Assembly, claiming that the next chief minister of the province would be from his party.

In an address to the media, the PML-N senior leader slammed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, saying that he [Imran] was only to blame for the country’s devastation. Mr Tanveer stated that the deposed premier had left Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in debt.

Complementing the efforts put forward by the Prime Minister’s economic team, Mr. Tanveer said that PM Shehbaz Sharif’s team was making all-out efforts to take the country out of its economic woes.

Mr Tanveer lavished praise on financial czar Ishaq Dar, saying that if Mr Dar had been present, the dollar could have crossed Rs300.

Recalling the election date, Mr Tanveer said the polls will be held in October.

Mr Tanveer clarified PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif’s visit to Geneva, saying that he [Nawaz Sharif] did not visit Geneva on any mission, but accompanied PML-N stalwart Maryam Nawaz.
