Govt won't let any political party, group to make the State a hostage: PM

PM Shehbaz and Fazlur Rehman discussed country's political and overall situation in a meeting.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) head and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Monday, Dunya News reported.

According to sources, country’s political and overall situation was discussed during the meeting. They also discussed issues related to the performance of PDM in the recently held by-elections.

The reasons behind PDM s defeat and Imran Khan s victory in the by-election also came under discussion. Both the leaders also agreed that they will not be intimidated by anyone s threat.

Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister said that the government will not let any political party, gang or armed group to attack the federal capital or make the state a hostage.
