ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) vice-president Maryam Nawaz has said that general elections are the solution of all problems as the coalition government cannot take big decisions.
While talking to media outside Islamabad High Court (IHC), the PML-N leader while talking about NAB said that the bureau has failed to submit any evidence against her in the court.
Maryam said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) chairman Imran Khan has pushed Pakistan 400 years back.
She further said, “He is attacking the institutions. When the institutions were backing Imran, everything was fine.”
Attacking NAB, she said that previously, anti-graft watchdog wanted the hearing to be held every day but now it is making excuses. “If they do not have anything against me, then being a citizen of Pakistan, they should not take away my rights. If you have anything against me then punish me for that,” she said.
She went on to say that Pakistan Army is a respectable institution for us, the whole nation looks up to it. She said that the leader of Pakistan Army should be someone with no stains on him.
Maryam said that despite all revenges of former government there is no division in PML-N.
“Imran Khan must go to the public and answer for his performance, he will try to use the inflation card but this will not work now,” she concluded.
