Eid Milad-un-Nabi: Sindh Govt declares public holiday on Oct 19

Earlier, Sindh government had banned pillion riding across the province on 12th Rabi ul Awal.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Sindh government on Wednesday announced public holiday across the province on 12th Rabi ul Awal, in connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him), falling on October 19, 2021.

According to a notification issued in this regard, the provincial government has declared public holiday for all the offices, autonomous, semi-autonomous bodies, corporations and local councils, except essential services and offices engaged in COVID-19 emergency, under its administrative control.

Earlier, the provincial government had banned pillion riding across the province on 12th Rabi ul Awal through a separate notification to maintain law and order situation.
