Sheikh Rashid welcomed Taliban's decision of general amnesty for everyone.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal interior minister Sheikh Rashid on Wednesday has clarified that Pakistan is not directly involved in any issue of Afghanistan.

Talking to media, the minister claimed that all the Indian consulates in the neighboring country were being used against Pakistan. Indian has fallen flat on its face in current situation, he added.

Sheikh Rashid welcomed Taliban’s decision of general amnesty for everyone. He further warned that no power can barricade the ongoing China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.  

The minister said Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan will not be allowed to perpetrate terrorism in Pakistan. Afghan Taliban have assured that they will not allow their land to be used against any other country, including Pakistan, he stated.

Sheikh Rashid said Prime Minister Imran Khan will very soon issue a detailed statement regarding the Afghan situation. Interior Ministry is working round the clock to facilitate the evacuation from Afghanistan, he went on to say.
