Raheela Tiwana merges her party PWP with PTI
The SAPM welcomed Raheela Tiwana on joining the PTI.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Former deputy speaker Sindh Assembly Raheela Tiwana on Wednesday announced to merge her party Pak Wattan Party (PWP) with ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The merger came on invitation of Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Sindh Affairs and Sindh s former chief minister Arbab Ghulam Rahim.
The SAPM welcomed Raheela Tiwana on joining the PTI.
Addressing a press conference after meeting Arbab Ghulam Rahim, Tiwana said that she joined the party thinking of Prime Minister Imran Khan s ideology, adding that Arbab Ghulam Rahim s era was a golden era for Sindh.
She assured full support to Arbab Ghulam Rahim and expressed her confidence that he would be able to do a lot for the people of Sindh.
On the occasion, Rahim said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is working hard to eradicate corruption and the PTI government has also focused on Sindh.
He said that in pursuance of Imran Khan s vision of progressive and prosperous Pakistan and with the support of PTI s federal government, he along with his team would be working hard for the betterment of Sindh, which was the worst hit by bad governance and corruption by Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) government.
The SAPM praised the prime minister’s bold stand on the issues of national importance including Indian held Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine.
