Punjab Chief Secretary Jawad Rafique Malik contracts COVID-19
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Secretary Jawad Rafique Malik has contracted coronavirus (COVID-19) on Tuesday.
Jawad Rafique Malik was on an official visit to Bahawalpur when he underwent COVID test after appearing symptoms. The chief secretary tested positive for COVID-19 and quarantined himself.
Following to the report of chief secretary, seven persons, who were traveling in the chief minister s plane, also tested for the COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and his PSO Haider Ali tested negative for coronavirus.
On the other hand, the Corona tests of the provincial finance minister, PM’s Special Assistant on Political Communication Shahbaz Gill and the chief minister’s PRO were also conducted.
