PDM announces to stage power show in Karachi on August 29
Fazlur Rehman said a meeting of the joint opposition alliance will be held on August 28 in Karachi.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – In order to give tough time to the government, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) – an 11 party opposition alliance – on Wednesday decided to take tougher stance on electronic voting machines.
Talking to media in Islamabad on Wednesday, PDM chairman Moulana Fazlur Rehman while launching a tirade against government said that the government is failing on all fronts as the country is currently going through a difficult period, while Pakistan has been isolated internationally.
The PDM chairman said that the government has broken records of inflation, unemployment and oppression and even the last drop of blood is being sucked with cruel taxes.
Fazl said the constitutional rule in the country is paralyzed at present while constitutional institutions have been suspended and the worst dictatorial restrictions on the media have been imposed.
The JUI-F chief said that a meeting of the PDM’s steering committee will be held in Islamabad on August 21 and the proposals will be finalized in the meeting.
He said a meeting of the joint opposition alliance will be held on August 28 in Karachi. The PDM chairman also announced to stage power show in Karachi on August 29.
Regarding Afghanistan, he said that the Afghan issue should be resolved through dialogue between the rival parties.
