Shehbaz telephones Nawaz after request for visa extension rejected
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and leader of the opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif telephoned his brother and party supremo after UK home office rejected Nawaz Sharif’s visa extension application.
Shehbaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif discussed the decision of the British Home Office. Nawaz apprised about the legal action on the decision of the British authorities.
During the telephonic conversation, Nawaz Sharif said that his lawyers had filed an appeal against the decision of the Home Office. The appeal stated medical reasons and treatment for further stay in the UK.
The former Punjab Chief Minister urged his brother to stay in the UK till he gets full treatment and permission from the doctors to travel. “Your health and safety is paramount to the nation and the party. The whole nation and the party pray for your speedy recovery”, said Shehbaz.
