UK rejects Nawaz Sharif's request for visa extension

LONDON (Dunya News) - The United Kingdom rejected the request of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to extend his visa.

The news was also confirmed by Hussain Nawaz, son of Nawaz Sharif.

It may be recalled that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif s six-month UK visa had expired on which he had requested for an extension of his visa for further stay in the UK in connection with his treatment, but the British authorities rejected the application.

After the rejection of the application by the British Home Office, Nawaz Sharif, now can appeal to the UK Immigration Department to reconsider the decision and from there he can go to the British courts if the application is rejected again.

Speaking on Dunya News program  On the Front’, PML-N leader and Nawaz Sharif’s spokesman Muhammad Zubair had said that the news of rejection of visa extension is false.

He had said that Nawaz Sharif will return to Pakistan when he will feel that justice will be served adding that he does not expect justice from the present government and NAB. He had said that revenge was being taken in the name of accountability, at this time no worker would want our leader to come back to Pakistan and offer his neck.

Prime Minister Imran Khan s Special Assistant on Political Communication Shahbaz Gill while reacting to the UK’s home office decision said that in the country where Nawaz Sharif built a palace with stolen money, today that country also rejected the visa extension application, now come back and complete your sentence while respecting the judiciary.
