Entire budget 2021-22 is based on lies: Bilawal Bhutto
'You promised to provide 1crore jobs, instead there is a rise in unemployment, poverty in country'
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has said that there is a storm of indirect taxes in the budget presented by the government.
Expressing his views on the budget FY2021-22 during the National Assembly session on Friday, Bilawal Bhutto said that the protesting government employees were also deceived in the budget.
He said why was there historic poverty in the country despite economic growth.
“You promised to provide one crore jobs, instead there is a rise in unemployment and poverty in the country,” said Bilawal Bhutto adding that the government did not even increase salaries last year.
He further said those who were employed also lost their job during the reign of the incumbent government. He said that the people were drowning in the tsunami of inflation.
