Punjab presented a pro-people budget: Firdous Ashiq

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to Chief Minister (SACM) for Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan on Tuesday said that the government has presented a balanced budget which represents public.

Firdous Ashiq Awan, in a statement on twitter, said that following the footsteps of Center, Punjab government presented a budget with historic Rs560 billion development budget.

The CM’s aide further said that overall Rs370 billion have been set aside for health sector while 80 billion rupees have been allocated for universal health coverage.

She further said that allocation of over Rs442 billion for education is proof of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s people friendly policies.
