Pakistan has so far conducted 13,892,289 coronavirus tests

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 59 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 943,027. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 21,782 on Tuesday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 838 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths and cases followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 10,548 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 5,256 in Sindh, 4,234 in KP, 773 in Islamabad, 569 in Azad Kashmir, 294 in Balochistan, and 108 in GB.

Furthermore 344,196 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 328,663 in Sindh, 136,205 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 82,170 in Islamabad, 26,275 in Balochistan, 19,791 in Azad Kashmir and 5,727 in Gilgit-Baltistan.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 13,892,289 coronavirus tests and 35,039 in the last 24 hours. 880,316 patients have recovered in the country whereas 2,611 patients are in critical condition.
