PM Imran to chair federal cabinet meeting today

The federal cabinet will discuss a 15-point agenda during the meeting.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The federal cabinet will meet today (Tuesday) in Islamabad to discuss country’s economic and political situation, Dunya News reported.

Prime Minister Imran Khan will preside over the federal cabinet meeting to be held at the Prime Minister’s office. The cabinet will discuss a 15-point agenda during the meeting.

According to sources, renewal of license of AHS Air International and appointment of private members of Pakistan Postal Management Board and member planning in the board of Heavy Industries Taxila is part of agenda of the cabinet meeting.

In addition, the issue of changing the land use of Carlton Hotel Karachi and approval of setting up a Coast Guards Foundation is also part of the cabinet meeting agenda.

Sources said that the issue of transfer of prisoner Muhammad Owais from Pakistan to Norway will be taken up in the cabinet. Land use clearance for private housing and high-rise apartments in Islamabad s Zone 4 will be part of the agenda.

The National Digital Cable Policy will be presented during the cabinet meeting for approval. The appointment of community welfare attaches abroad is on the cabinet agenda.

The cabinet will also approve the Economic Coordination Committee s (ECC) decisions that were taken in ECC meeting on June 2.
