NAB's utmost priority is to eliminate corruption, recover looted money: Chairman NAB

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has said that eradication of corruption from the country and return of looted money is the top priority of NAB.

According to details, a meeting of NAB’s Executive Board was held under the chairmanship of Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal in which various cases were reviewed.

Addressing the meeting, the Chairman said that he would advise those who unjustifiably criticize NAB to spend their time defending the references filed in the courts.

He said that NAB has filed 1269 references worth billions of rupees against big fish and its performance has been praised by Transparency International Pakistan, PILDAT and MISAL Pakistan which is an honor for NAB.
