Sugar scandal: NAB summons Younus Dagha on April 28
NAB has directed the former secretary to bring minutes off all inter-ministry meetings.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned former Commerce Secretary Younus Dhaga on April 28 in the ongoing sugar scandal probe. The former Secretary has been directed to appear before the Rawalpindi office.
According to details, the anti-graft watchdog has decided to include Younus Dagha in the investigation regarding export of sugar and has directed the former secretary to bring minutes off all inter-ministry meetings.
The bureau has also asked him to bring all record about how prices for international and local sugar markets were determined.
Earlier, NAB had also summoned PTI’s Mohsin Khan Leghari. Sources privy to the matter have told Dunya News on Thursday that a combined investigation team of the anti-corruption watchdog will interrogate the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmaker.
Mohsin Leghari has been asked to bring the record pertaining to the subsidy given on sugar during 2018 to 2019. Furthermore, the documentation of export permit has also been summoned.
