LAHORE (Dunya News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned Mohsin Khan Leghari on May 4 in the ongoing sugar scandal probe. The provincial minister has been directed to appear before the Rawalpindi office.

Sources privy to the matter have told Dunya News on Thursday that a combined investigation team of the anti-corruption watchdog will interrogate the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmaker.

Mohsin Leghari has been asked to bring the record pertaining to the subsidy given on sugar during 2018 to 2019. Furthermore, the documentation of export permit has also been summoned.

It is pertinent here to mention that the anti-graft body is investigating the sugar scandal under the Anti-Money Laundering Act, 2010. The anti-graft body has also summoned PTI’s Samiullah Chaudhry on May 4.
