Mufti Kifayatullah was arrested from Mansehra
MANSEHRA (Dunya News) - Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Mufti Kifayatullah was arrested by police on late Monday night.
As per details, a large police party raided residence of JUI-F leader to arrest him. DPO Asif Bahadur said that Mufti Kifayatullah was arrested under Section 3 of MPO and the federal cabinet had decided to arrest him over anti-state statements.
The JUI-F leader had been hiding for the past two months, the police officer said.
Earlier in October 2019, the law enforcement agencies and Mansehra Police also conducted a joint operation in Islamabad’s Sector E-11/3, and arrested JUI-F’s Mufti Kifayatullah for allegedly issuing derogatory remarks against the state institutions.
