Six employees of CM House KP test positive for coronavirus
CM KP will attend all official meeting via video link.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan has limited his official activities after six employees of his office tested positive for coronavirus.
As per details, it is now mandatory for employees of CM House to get tested for the coronavirus while entry of general visitors has also been banned.
Meetings of CM KP with lawmakers have been limited and all official meetings will be held via video link.
CM Mehmood Khan has reiterated that coronavirus situation in the province is worrisome and urged people to take precautionary measures and follow coronavirus related SOPs.
On the other hand, country has reported 98 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 672,931. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 14,530 on Thursday.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 4,974 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Till now 6,427 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,502 in Sindh, 2,363 in KP, 572 in Islamabad, 355 in Azad Kashmir, 208 in Balochistan, and 103 in GB.
